Second grade is so much fun.  We do so many fun and exciting activities that will help your child learn and grow.  We are focusing on our Character Reading Project that are due March 8, 2018. In math, we are working on time and money.  Please continue to work on these topics at home throughout your day.  Have your child count out your pocket change or put some on the counter each night for them to count.  As an extra incentive, maybe give them a coin or two if they get it correct!  Ask them questions about time.  For example, how many minutes will it take us to get to the store if we leave now and get there at 5:00 ?  This make learning fun and meaningful.

Just a reminder that our Valentine party will be Wednesday, February 14, 2018.  Students may bring in Valentines Tuesday or Wednesday of that week.
