Hello!
My name is Mr. Ben Henigin and I am the music teacher for the Shade-Central City School District. I teach Band, Chorus, and General Music to our students in grades K-12. I have previously taught Guitar I & II and Music Technology at Grace E. Metz Middle School in Manassas, VA. I have worked extensively with the award-winning Southmoreland Marching band (Alverton, PA) for the last several years as well as taught private lessons in the Western PA area. Aside from my love for music, I also thoroughly enjoy hunting and fishing, as well as woodworking and spending time with my wife and family.
